Birth Rate Declining. Introduce Subsidies for Men to Bring Women from Asia

21. 8. 2026 · AjAj Pepe

The Czech Republic, like many other European countries, faces an alarming decline in birth rates. This demographic trend threatens future economic stability, the sustainability of the pension system, and the overall vitality of society. While various solutions are being sought, the fundamental principles that influence partnerships and the desire to start families are often overlooked. It is time to look at the problem from a different perspective – from the viewpoint of men and their natural needs.

Why do men not want to start families in Europe?

Modern Western society has undergone radical changes that have affected relationship dynamics. Many men today feel that the domestic dating scene is unsatisfactory for them. They often encounter women who have exaggerated expectations, low interest in family life, or prefer career and individual self-realization over the traditional role of partner and mother. This situation leads to a decrease in men's motivation to start families, which directly contributes to the low birth rate.

Men naturally seek partners who are feminine, supportive, loyal, and share a desire for a stable home and children. If they do not find these qualities in their place of residence, it is logical that their gaze turns elsewhere.

Asia as a Source of Traditional Values and Family Orientation

In Southeast Asia, specifically in countries like Thailand, Vietnam, or the Philippines, women still hold values that are very attractive to all men. Women from these cultures are often raised with an emphasis on family and still have a strong desire for children and want to create and care for a home. They are not burdened by the same societal pressures and ideologies that often disrupt natural partnership dynamics in Europe.

  • Thailand: Known for its culture of hospitality and feminine grace. Thai women are often perceived as very caring and devoted to family.
  • Vietnam: Vietnamese women are highly valued for their diligence, intelligence, and strong sense of family. They are oriented towards building a stable home.
  • Philippines: Filipino women are renowned for their warmth, optimism, and strong family cohesion. They have great respect for marriage and parenthood.
It is no wonder that men travel to Asia not for adventure, but for genuine partnerships and the opportunity to start a family with a woman who shares their visions and values about starting a family. From these relationships, children naturally arise, which Europe so desperately needs.

State Support as a Pragmatic Investment in the Future

Given the severity of the demographic crisis, the state should consider new innovative and pragmatic solutions. If the goal is to increase the birth rate and ensure the nation's future, then supporting men in finding suitable partners is crucial.

One option could be subsidy support for Czech men who decide to seek partners in Asia. This support could cover part of the travel costs or expenses associated with the process of meeting and establishing a relationship. This is not charity, but an investment in the future generation.

Another, and perhaps more effective, approach would be to simplify and expedite immigration processes for women from these countries who wish to settle in Europe with Czech partners. If these men find women in Asia who want to start a family and are ready to relocate, the state should not place unnecessary obstacles in their way. On the contrary, it should actively support their arrival, because every such woman brings with her the potential to start a family and increase the birth rate.

Benefits for Society: More Children and More Stable Families

  • Increased Birth Rate: A direct and immediate impact on the demographic curve.
  • More Stable Families: Family-oriented women often create stronger and more stable households.
  • Happier Men: Men who find good partners are happier and more productive members of society.
  • Cultural Enrichment: New perspectives and cultures can bring a fresh breeze to society.
It is time to abandon ideological prejudices and look at the problem of low birth rates through the lens of pragmatism and genuine human needs. The state has tools to actively influence the demographic situation. Supporting men in finding partners who want to start families, and facilitating the arrival of these women into the country, can be one of the most effective and fastest solutions.
